Default My b-movie entry

Hi,
it's been a long time since last time I posted something here but now that the CG challenge is over I would like to share some of the work in progress images I produced for the past 2 months, while competing on the B-Movie challenge at CGSociety. Because the project was a little too ambitious to be completed on my spare time only, the quality and attention to detail had to be sacrificed so don't bother looking for flaws because I'm aware there are lots of them! I actually like some of the wip images better than the final image, but because of the time constrain I didn't have the chance to do any better, unfortunately.

All base models done in Maya. All sculpting done in ZBrush. All render done in Modo, including hair.

According to the rules, I'm not allowed to post the final image outside of CGSociety just yet, but I'll add a link to it so you can check how it turned out. Don't forget to check the other (AMAZING) entries.

Default 6 stars

You are the best. This is just amazing, amazing. The anatomy and painting is ALIVE, so real. The alien looks like it could actually exist, I mean, the believable and yet fantastical mixed in one.

Incredible work. Six stars.
